O.K. We confess. We are all Magpies here at Bead Pixies. Paula, Jan, and their merry band of beaders are attracted to anything that sparkles. Those of you with a similar addiction will know that Magpie Syndrome is a harmless affliction and enormous fun.

Jan is an 'import' from the U.K., where she owned a design and PR consultancy. She now lives in Nova Scotia, and runs an automotive electronics business with her husband and brother. However, creativity 'will out' as they say, and she always finds time to devote to her jewellery making, and to promoting the work of other local artisans.

Paula - owns Cornucopia Design, a consultancy specializing in the design and installation of displays for stores and malls, and office and hotel lobby interiors. In her 'spare' time, she writes music lyrics and runs www.acousticroof.ca (take a look!). In her spare 'spare' time, guess what? She makes jewellery!
